Description:
NEW TERRITORIES. This vast new airport was the largest civil engineering project ever undertaken worldwide. At this museum, visitors can see the complex project as it took shape. The ferry ride to Tsuen Wan offers excellent views on the way to the museum, and once there, you can see scale models of the airport, photos from various stages of the project, and panoramic views of the Tsing Ma Bridge.
Jardine House
(Sights & Activities - Architecture)
1 Connaught PlHong Kong
Description:
CENTRAL. You can't miss the unique architecture of this eye-catching building. The 52-story structure contains 1,700 windows that resemble portholes. As if the interesting exterior did not call enough attention, this office building was the tallest in Southeast Asia when it was first constructed. Though many other skyscrapers match the height of the Jardine House today, none of them equal its distinctive style.
Tsing Ma Bridge
(Sights & Activities - Architecture)
Hong Kong

LANTAU ISLAND. This fascinating creation is the world's longest road-and-rail suspension bridge. The bridge is made up of towers that stand as high (or higher) than many of the city's soaring buildings.
